Meet Lozelle Mathai
MBA, CFEI
Founder of The Body of Accounting
& Closing Your Books LLC
Lozelle’s mission is to pick up where the health and wellness education may have left out in the subject of financial management. She loves it when clients experience the “Ah-Ah moment”, as they begin to understand all the elements of their accounting and bookkeeping cycle and reality of controlling their business finances.
Her passion for the industry lends its self beyond Accounting, Bookkeeping, and Financial Management - she wants to build a lasting relationship with you and your business.

When Lozelle is not working, you can find her belly dancing, going to Crossfit, enjoying a massage, watching The Golden Girls and Doc McStuffins, and spending time with her 3 superheroes.

Mission
Beyond providing personalized accounting, bookkeeping, and financial management services to businesses within the health and wellness industry, Lozelle’s mission is to educate providers on how to manage, maintain and control their organization’s finances and pick the best financial technology tools. She believes that “the learning is in the doing”, and when business owners gain financial knowledge, they become involved. They ask questions. They go into their accounting software and review the details. They read and understand their weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements. They make informed and powerful financial decisions.
These financial decisions not only affect their livelihood, but it also affects the livelihood of their staff and the economy. Lozelle aims to gain client’s trust and develop meaningful relationships that emerge into lasting partnerships. The foundation of The Body of Accounting is built on trust and transparency. We treat our clients with the same respect as we want to be treated.
